Title: Reducing shaft length of Emax CF-2812 Post by: VC on August 23, 2011, 08:19:15 PM I would like to reduce the shaft length of this motor by 5mm. Is it OK to use a Dremel and cut away the length from the shaft?

There is no harm in cutting the shaft as per your requirement, but make sure that you cover the motor with tape or cloth or remove the shaft before cutting as the small flying iron flings can stick to motor magnets which can harm the motor winding.
