Hello everyone,
Today when I was trying to answer Iyer sir's questions from another thread by testing my motor and prop. While I was changing my bullet connectors my solder joints came loose so I soldered my connectors back and changed the order of the esc wires. When I started the motor it started making weird sounds and it wasn't starting.

Keep Moving Forward...!

Hello,
1)Check the connections again maybe 1 or more connections is not properly connected..
2)then try to run that motor with different ESC and The ESC with different motor, so if any one of them is faulty you can figure it out
3)make sure that the ESC is hooked up with RX on throttle channel .... Smiley
4)Check if there is any physical damage to the wire insulation or wire itself
5) If the ESC is okay then check the motor with a multi meter, just put the multi meter on resistance or continuity check mode and connect the banana connectors to multimeter test leads if the motor connections are okay it should show low resistance between  two terminals and if the connections are not proper the resistance should be infinite.

If problem is not solved by these steps then let us know,
(so we can try more complicated tests)
And one more thing please dont test a faulty motor with propeller on it..atleast not in home.!

Good luck..!

Re:

The motor and esc both were working fine just a few hours before.
The joints are totally fine and the wire is also good.
I don't have any other esc or motor.

Most likely cause connection break in one lead.
Though that shows up as prop judder.

Remove prop.
Recalibrate throttle.
Try low throttle while pushing/pulling one wire at a time.
Try shubs' suggestions
Resolder all connectors.

Best of luck.

Power on the Tx. Keep it at max throttle. Connect lipo to esc. 2 seconds After you hear one or two beeps lower the throttle to minimum. Disconnect lipo and again reconnect. It should work now.
