Isn't the servo mechanism built inside it? It can't be actually servoless?

Rohit there is no servo, the retracts are actuated by motors turning a jackscrew which raises or lowers the retract legs. You just need to plug the retracts into your receiver retract channel
My foam P47 from FMS came with these retracts installed. I have some pictures of the retracts working in flights at my thread. 

Ok thanks flyingboxcar. I had the doubt because the description on HobbyKing said "Reliable servo mechanism with metal gearing and a high torque motor ensures trouble free flying!"

Do not go by Chinglish, most of the instructions/literature from them make for good entertainment :-) 

 

Then i guess this would be more realistic than using the servo mechanism(i.e if we are not using something to slow down the servo speed).

Cant vouch only ones I have used is the one which came installed in my foam P47. But the ones I have withstood few landings and one crash.
Then I would always prefer these on electric powered ones as the power would be drawn from the main battery and in case of voltage drop there would be safety of the ESC cutting out power. Whereas in a glow model unless using a seperate bty pack for the retracts any jammed or binding retract would mean end of model 

Plus I would take the stated model weight (suitable for the retracts) with a pinch of salt. So if they say it would take 4 Kg aircraft I would treat that to be 3 Kg or thereabout to be on the safe side.
How much does your 60 size weight all up? 

@Flyingboxcar: Not sure about the actual AUW. The planes were recently bought and still sleep in the boxes. Just collecting information on the engines, servos, retracts, in cowl fuelers etc etc i would like in them.

I am looking at retracts for P51, SpitFire & the TA6-Texan. All are 0.60 size ARF's by Phoenix. The manual says: 3300-3600gms. Think that should be the AUW as per the manual. BTW the kits come with mechanical retracts but not very impressive and not at all scale like. Would prefer using something like these but for a 6kg load:

These are only the oleo legs. The retract mechanism is separate and is usually pneumatically operated.

Absolutely correct. Have mailed UMS for specs and will try and see if they are compatible with electric retracts. BTW any news on the Hitec servos?
