 Bang Head

Hi

I am a new RC user, bought a Traxxas Bandit which has a Velineon VXL-3S power system . I have Ni-Cd batteries with 7.2V & 2000 mAh. The battery gets immediately discharged on accelerating after I install in the RC. Can someone help ? Also if I need to buy some parts where can I get it in Mumbai ?

Thanks

Mugen Seiki Rules

For Brushless, only Lipos work well. Get some decent Lipos and see your car zoom.

Spares are still an issue for Traxxas. Check with Indian Hobbies, pune. They used to deal with Traxxas cars. Dont think they have spares.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Replacement 2s or 3s lipos are available in many RC stores in India.  Check out the list of stores at : http://www.rcindia.org/rc-outlets-and-resellers/mega-list-of-all-rc-outlets-in-india/

I am not sure what is the minimum "C" rating you should go for though. That is the big decision you have to make.  Brand and duration (mah rating) are more of personal/budget issues.

Usually a higher C rating is a good thing.
