I have a cobra 2204 BLDC. I have just ordered a turnigy 2200mah 3s 20c. Is that the right choice.  I don't have any other option as the rest are sold out.  Please reply ASAP.  For if needed, I could cancel my order from Amazon.
Thanks in advance.

For 250 racers it depends on the weight of battery. Most people opt for 1500-1800 mAh because the weight is only around 150g or less.

You will need to calculate the TWR of your quad and see if you can fit a heavier 2200 mAh battery on it.

For a 250 size 1300mAh with a high C rating like 65c-75c is the lightest and the fastest setup. 1500mAh will give you slightly more flight time without making the quad sluggish. If you are planning to carry a HD recording camera then I would suggest you not to get a 1800mAh it becomes slow and sluggish. For acrobatics stay between 1300~1500. For general fpv flying 1800 is doable
For batteries refer to the following places
1) RCHLipos They are having Bonkas  Drool the best battery you can buy in India
2) RCMumbai They have Tattus which are also quality batteries

Great info. Thanks a lot. Been searching the net for a while and don't even chance upon these sites.  Much low price too. Will certainly go for the 1400mah tattu for my quad. Btw, one more question , what do you think if the 2200mah is suitable for a plane, a stealth plane (you know the triangular one).  Or should I go ahead  and cancel the order placed for it ?

Can't comment on a plane. Don't have much knowledge about it. You need to know the wing loading stuff to choose the correct parts(Whether the battery would be too big for the airframe or the motor can pull such weight) Better would be refer to the plan specifications or post on RCI(But first do some research from your side) someone will surely help  Thumbs Up

C rating indicates current discharge capacity of the battery. For example, for a 1500 30C LiPo, the current it can provide is C rating * capacity in Ah = 1.5*30 = 45A. This means it can supply up to 45A of current. You should calculate the max current require by 1 motor and multiply that by 4 and make sure it is equal to or lower than the current the battery can supply.

Better to have a battery that can supply more amps than you can consume(about 10A-15A is good). If the amp rating is equal to the consumption the battery can puff up in the long run.

Like higher the c rating higher the performance ?
Yes the flips and rolls will be snappy. Punch outs would be powerful. Quad would feel locked in and agile(provided PIDs are tuned and the quad is not too heavy)

I'm unable to find out the max current for the motor. I have searches the net thoroughly. Anyone with any info regarding above request will be welcomed.
My motor specs are avionic 23000kv/1000.
That said, will the above mentioned battery suffice the motors requirements?
Many thanks in advance
