Title: Using Two Brushless at once?? Post by: naatumach on September 20, 2010, 02:25:33 AM If i intend to use two counter rotating brushless motors to get a more stable flight.
I will have to use 2 sets of Motor+esc. and connect them using Y-connector. BUT if i do so. i will be connecting two batteries to the Rx through my esc which in means i stand a good chance of burning my Rx (which incidentally i have a lot of experience in :banghead: ). I also considered using a common ESC but i dont know if this idea will work. And if it would will i have to get an esc of combined amp or the the motors will be in parallel? My question- HOW DO I PUT TWO MOTORS WITHOUT BURNING THE Rx? Regards Vaibhav Title: Re: Using Two Brushless at once?? Diode IN4001 /-----------\ (+) |\|____ | | --------|/| | | (-) | ESC 1 | --------------- | | (PWM) | | --------------- \-----------/ Diode IN4001 /-----------\ (+) |\|____ | | --------|/| | | (-) | ESC 2 | --------------- | | (PWM) | | --------------- \-----------/ Put one IN4001 Diode in series of the Positive line of each of the ESC before they reach the Y cable. This would give kind of fail safe and provide more power. This diode is very easily available at any radio/tv parts or repair shop for over 1 Rs a piece. Title: Re: Using Two Brushless at once?? Cut the positive of 1 ESC or on 1 of the branches of the Y connector . rgds sai Title: Re: Using Two Brushless at once?? Post by: naatumach on September 22, 2010, 12:08:56 AM Thank you for all the replies :).. I will definitely try them out and revert to you.
