Hi guys,

      Instead of the previous Quad Kit, i have made another quad kit which is a lot easier to assemble and use. Grin

The kit is Priced at Rs. 350 + Rs. 90(Flat Rate Shipping and handling across India)

The kit will include:

1. The Kit
2. 32 Screws and Nuts (adequate for everything)
3. 6/8 mm sq. wood for reinforcements and landing gear.

The battery can be suspended via battery straps, but you will have to provide a landing gear if you wish to.

The Control Board holes are spaced 45mm apart (KK standard) and are easily switched between + and X. You may use foam tape to mount other sizes.

Spares (Booms and Centre Plates) will be available at extremely reasonable prices as well Smiley

I am making this available only on a preorder (shipping commencing on Wednesday/Thursday) since i need atleast 5-7 orders for the kit to make it economical.

This is whats included in the kit.

1. Kit
2. 32 Screws and Nuts
3. Wood Square rod to be glued to booms for strengthening.
4. Wood Square rod to be cut and used as landing gear.

Got my parcel today and I am overall very happy. God job done Yash! Thumbs Up

Parts fit well and all the components are well aligned. Yash was kind enough to include the 100mm square pine booms and they will add rigidity to the platform. The included screw set is also an added bonus. More than 'paisa vasool' in my humble opinion.

Two suggestions - the centre plate could have been a little bigger and you could also include a set of 4 rubber ferrules (available cheap at any furniture maker) to act as landing pads.

Advice to all beginners - instead of fiddling around with 100 Rupees worth of 'jugaad' , go in for this and you get a balanced platform for your first Quad.

Agree with Vc sir.. instead of messing with  aluminium pipes or wooden frames this is the best setup for quads and affordable too.

@VC ji,Thank you for your review. Glad you are happy with the product. As for your suggestions, I can certainly provide the Rubber Ferrules, however for increasing the centre plate size, I would need enough orders for the same to justify redesigning the quad.

I don't know why people aren't going in for this kit. Here is my frame, and I think it is rather neat.

Landing shocks from 2" PVC pipes, the steel ring was added to increase the strength of the frame. I cannibalised it from a wheel hub cap.

Total weight of frame : 238 grams!

P.S.: why don't you make a new thread(build log) for your quad. There would be a lot to learn for a lot of people. (e.g.: the salvaged wire ring etc)
