Title: Futaba 7CAP-PCM Radio Set - Brand New
Post by: Rajib on February 12, 2011, 03:16:13 PM
Hello Guys,
I have one brand new Futaba 7CAP-PCM radio (PCM/PPM Selectable) frequency of 72.970 MHz (Ch 59). It is made in Taiwan and bought from USA. Few years ago my sister brought this radio for me from USA. This radio has been never used for flying but I have used it at home few times just to show some friends how it works. It has no servos; The Tx and Rx Ni-Cd batteries are included; 110V American wall adapter chargers for batteries are included and you need 220 to 110V convertor to use this charger. It has Futaba original neck strap, Frequency flag and wind direction indicator ribbon attachment.

This radio is Mode 2 radio which mean throttle on left hand, but you can change to any mode from model 1 to mode 4. It has built in program to change the stick mode and also you need to change hardware spring ratchet manually to open the radio set which is not very hard.

I have one special programming book which not came with this radio but I am offering this book along with this radio. I am want to sale this radio just because I am using 2.4GHz radio system. I am attaching some pictures of this radio here.

Price: Rs.10500/- (including shipping charges in India)
Available Stock: 1 pc

This model does not have a Rf module, so only a hack can convert it into another band eg 2.4GZ
Just for information.

You're right Jitender; Futaba 7CAP radio does not have module system like Futaba 9C has.

Thanks for correcting me Harveer. For the information of the flyer here, A module would fit like a battery pack, demanding lest expertise in Electronics. While putting a Hack module requires if not expert for fairly good hand in electronics as one needs to open the Radio, find a good thread over some forum which wires to touch (as  no OEM document would support  such hack in their manuals). But I would bet almost all club would have some Electronics guy, and all you need is to be game for the hack and have confidence.

Common, folks, if you skeptical about the price, at least throw some offers at Rajib!! Its such a great Radio.

Mpowershopping has booked this radio without the advance programming book over the telephone and now waiting for payment, thank you augustinev.

User Mpowershopping has booked this radio over the phone on 27-02-2011 and he told me he is going to made payment next day. But next day on 28-02-2011 he sent me a sms to say that he will make payment next day and I said him okay. Now on 01-03-2011 he said he has dropped checked into my account and asked me to check next day morning. But today morning 02-03-2011 he said he has deposited cash into my account and I should check confirm him.
So asked him how come he made cash payment while he has already deposited check, how he withdrawn that check? He said he made stop payment for that check and made cash payment and he also paid Rs. 125/- for stop payment.

I told him to give me his bank account details because I want to return him his money after deducting cheque bounce charges if he really made any deposit of cheque on 01-03-2011. Because I have talk to my bank and they said that if any cheque has been deposited to my bank and bounce for any reason they will deduct money for that and it will be reflect on my account which is bad record, dishonored of cheque is bad record for your account. But he said he spoke to my bank and they told him that there will be no such charges, I have no clue why my bank is telling me something and him something else. But I just know one very simple thing that if even no cheque bounces charges but there will be a record of this stop payment on my account if he really dropped cheque. I am not offended about any small deduction of any cheque bounces charges but it if he made stop payment then it is bad records which will reflects on my account made me offended. :banghead:

Now he is sending me sms for my address to send FedEx people to collect the shipment but I gave him my address on few days before, I guess he didn’t check his PMs. Now he called me and was shouting on me like he bought me because he made payment today. I told him before that other people are waiting for this radio and if he didn’t pay within the time he said then I will give chance to others. I want to give this radio to someone who has value of his words so I am canceling this deal and I will sure refund money to him even now he is shouting and telling he doesn’t want to take money back. We people are here at RCINDIA not to misguide or make someone fool and us here to help other honestly. So Mpowershopping please send your bank account details in PM or I can send your money which you sad you deposited by cash (I haven’t checked yet) will be deposit to your account from which you made cheque payment, sure I can get details of that account from my bank.  :)

Now this radio is again open for sale, if anyone has interest they can send me PM, but please keep your words and do it honestly.

Anwar, if Sellers open an account on this forum, they just can't use the forum as a 'Poster Wall' where you post and forget. The Sellers should have the responsibility to regularly check the forum for complaints by flyers and redress it.
I am still waiting for VK Singh to come up with a disclaimer that he doesn't have any association with the guy Electroart (or what ever).
I accept it was my mistake to make the topic vague, but there were genuine implications nevertheless, which was not urgently addressed by Mr VK Singh.

Sellers can't just disappear whenever there is a case against them and then suddenly re-appear when they want to put an advertisement. They just can't just 'use' the forum like a free advertising media without a payback.

I would request you to block/blacklist/Advisory against such truant seller unless they revert back with explanation. Many people treat the info on this forum as ultimate guide. we should put these things on the switchboard so that people can quickly get recent rather  rather than do a search and go thru tons of thread only to discover that the seller has dubious reputation very late.

A Megalist without a rating/review is more as a pitfall like uncertified 'Free' Android apps on the net, many of which have been detected as spy/adware.

Ujjwal, I wanted to avoid getting into the "ratings" business.  I expected people to do a bit of research before spending their money, regardless of whether it is a store or a person they are dealing with.  The open nature of this forum ensures (at least that was my intention) that bad apples will be exposed by the community, with the accused having every opportunity to defend their actions. The rule that even posts in the "For Sale" board cannot be edited after some hours (and other similar rules) were designed to present a fair picture.  In some cases, if the accused is not active on the forum, I have sent them PMs to attract their attention.

Some stores charge exorbitantly for some items, but if you need that item urgently, and that is the only place it is available, then that is the user's choice.

Overall, the onus is on each and everyone to do their own research. The information is here.

Anwar Bhai,

to add to what Ujjwal says, (a) the scrolling thread when scrolled past the homepage kinda goes into a backburner , most of'em. (b) in the search options i don't know, i doubt though, we have a 'and' switch to search (Like A+B) (c) dubious sellers (I am not talking about mpower here) are getting away with murder and are coming back to post for more, (d) credibility is something which as a RC website we need to preserve, some, like ujjwal says take things written here for gospel truth, therefore, all the more reason

last but not the least, you will require somebody helping you out (This one is just a  remote tinge of being very close to a suggestion),

I spoke to rajib, apparently, mpower has deposited the amount they mutually agreed for, what he is aggrieved about is the tone and tenor of mpower's talk, it appears more like a honour code violation, rather than money issue, here. Redressal of each other's grievance needs to be brought up to a Tribunal, Presently you are doing the job, why don't you think of creating a body of RCI members who will , on your behalf sort out these issues, some real experienced willing people are out there, again it is just a passing thought

Any "avoid these sellers (or buyers)" list will have to be based on the actual personal details of the people involved, and not NOT based on a forum username.  Forum accounts are easy to create !

I am not sure I want to sign up for creating a list of people with their actual names, addresses, phone numbers, bank details etc.

People take risks, whether eBay or RC India. The grass is always greener on the other side, and there are always one other place with better prices for everything !

Use available tools to obtain justice, whether Paypal complaints, your bank, or cyber crime cases.

That said, if a bunch of people (senior folks, as judged by their RC experience and how they are perceived in their local fields or professional circles) are willing to form a group to help with stuff, including maintaining a "list of suspects", I am OK with that.  It does not make sense to do something like that with me playing judge, jury and executioner... it has to be some kind of collective decision.

Of course, when a bunch of people confirm that it is a spade !

BTW, the spade example is too simple an analogy for this.

I can understand Anwar how tightrope walking you have been doing maintaining the forum and trying hard to be equally fair to everyone. We have already seen its hard to open a 'Rating' system, but just like we have put 'Notes' in front of the seller like 'Reported not active' etc, if there are thread open for complain against them, and the seller does not responds in reasonable time, we can atleast flag 'Open cases' and put the thread URL so that buyer can evaluate.

When people like Rajib come up with such report, I bet its not just only personal grudge, but there is a large element of warning others for possible pitfalls.
There would always be some complains regarding all sellers, but what about a seller who has all bad things being reported. Flagging them would not be considered 'unkind/unjust/rude' to then, when you consider the goodwill of the community at large.

I just came from the bank, I was there long time because I was trying to find out about the cheque which has been stopped payment by user Mpowershopping, but there were no such records. But I got cash deposited today in my account which is sure from the user Mpowershopping. But my point is as per his words he made deposited of a cheque yesterday and today he made stopped payment and also paid Rs. 125/- charges to his bank for that service, but there should be entry in my account if his words are true but I'm going to check again tomorrow for sure.  :banghead:

I hope in between user Mpowershopping will send his account details so that I can return his money after I get confirmation from my bank that no fine/penalty for cheque bounce. If there is no such fine/penalty about cheque bounce then I will return his money 100%, but if there any fine/penalty then that same amount I will deduct from his amount and will return the rest of the amount to him as early as possible because I’ve no intension to hold his money and also don’t wishes make any false commitment.  >:(
