VC sir, what is the difference between this and the normal CA? Is this the foam safe type of CA? Oh that reminds me.. does Araldite react with thermocol?

No. Araldite is safe with Thermocole or Depron/Biofoam. However, it takes 24 hours to cure and harden.

This stuff (CA 460) cures and hardens in half a minute and can be used on Thermoocole/ Depron. Normal CA ( Feviquik etc) will destroy foam.

Thanks a lot for the info guys.. Cause I wanted to glue a wooden spar into a thermocol wing.. Which would be the most appropriate glue for this? I have only 3 options.. Araldite, Fevicol & hot-glue. The CA460 is a bit out of my budget at the moment..

I am not weird...Instead i am a bit different....
mecineman.....use bond tite fast and clear....that best thing i have come accross settles in fives minutes and achives full strength in an hour...cost one box. Rs 60...a very goood thing
Its beter than araldite, fevicol and hot glue...
else it ur own choice...

Try fevitite Rapid 5 Minutes epoxy. Costs Rs30 for 13gm from Pidilite Makers of fevicol.Very useful glue for foams and wood.

One of the best, fast setting, epoxies is ARALDITE KLEAR. It starts to set in about 2 minutes max. and has incredible strength. I do not use 30 min. epoxy any more. Prefer to mix a small quantity for each joint, every time.
