I bought a small paint system a few years back from TowerHobbies.

I used it a couple of times, but no longer need it ( since I am out of building planes for a while now ).

I have lost a few accessories for this system, but have the compressor available for sale. I may be able to find a few parts/tubing , if anyone is interested.

This is 110V. Asking price Rs 1750/- + shipping at actuals ( around Rs 250/- for major cities in India ) .

How did you use it with 220V?  Are you offering the set with the step down adapter or without?

I have a step down transformer. But not selling that in this deal. You can get it locally in your city.

What is the ampere rating required of the step down transformer?

I have been looking for such a compressor so that I can get the Spray gun. Shipping from HK is costly.
Any idea gaurav if it is possible to re-wind the motor for 220v? the 110v is a deal breaker for me , though your asking price is incredible!! Having blown my 110v Futaba Tx charger,  I fear going for any 110v App!

FYI forum members. Such compressor is scarce to find in the country. I tried my luck in the Huge tool market in SP Road Bangalore. if you can live with 110v and looking for Airbrush, go for it!

I am not sure if rewinding the motor would be a good/practical idea.
BTW I havent had any problems with 110 volts appliances and have been using several items since the last many years.
I got one convertor built for 2KVA and use, and its got a voltmeter/knob to let you select output voltage .
This selection is important, since in many parts of our country voltage is not 220V really , and rather much less.

Not sure of the wattage. BTW i have a 1000Watt 220V-110V convertor and havent had any problems using this with it.

Nice that the sale is closing in good. Hadn't it been a 110v, I would have bought it the day it was put on sale. Generous deal I must say.

If you want a fairly powerful and very silent air compressor for hobby painting, just buy one from a refrigerator supply store. They easily build up 50-60 millibar pressure. Ask an AC mechanic to install whatever connector you need. The used ones are even cheaper.(recycle- reuse- save the planet etc)

How much does a new one cost ? Anybody knows of such shops in bangalore ? Am also looking for lubricant used in compressors.

My current setup uses one from small old 100L fridge. Would like something more powerful and with more airflow.
