I have following robotic components for sale. As i am collecting money for getting into RC i need this stuff to go Smiley. If anyone here is interested in robotics, its a good deal.

1)  60 RPM DC GEARED MOTOR(USED)
     Quantity=7
     torque= more than 7 kg cm
     Price= 90 rs each plus shipping

2)  300 RPM DC GEARED motor(used)
       Quantity=4
     torque= 2 kg-cm
     Price= 90 rs each plus shipping

3) 100 RPM HIGH TORQUE SQUARE GEAR BOX MOTOR
     USED ONLY ONCE( have made a contour on shaft for mounting wheels)
     Quantity=4
     torque= 20 kg-cm+
     Price= 1000 rs each plus shipping
     Here is the link. Though the torque rated here is 10 kg-cm the motor easily gives torque more then 20kg-cm
     http://www.vegarobokit.com/index.php?route=product/product&path=35_41&product_id=139

4) AVR SERIAL PROGRAMMER (ISP) AND USB TO SERIAL CONVERTER
     Bought it from robosoft systems. Not even used once as i could never learn programming microcontrollers Bang Head. Just tested. Here are the links..
    http://www.robosoftsystems.co.in/roboshop/index.php/development-boards/usb-to-serial.html
    http://www.robosoftsystems.co.in/roboshop/index.php/development-boards/avr-usb-programmer.html

    PRICE: 600+ SHIPPING FOR BOTH OF THEM

I am giving away AVR ATMEGA 32 DEVELOPMENT BOARD free to one who takes majority of above mentioned stuff. I had bought this board also along with item no.4 to learn microcontroller programming. But as i don have any experience with programming  :(am not able to figure out whats wrong with this board. I tried programming it but it didnt get detected. Also i will give away 5v adapter for free.

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

Have not you tried PIC ?
They are more easier than ATMEGA in learning as well as in use as they have much lower pin count.

We have to unite and to prove ourself to make indigenous products as well as marketing / Canvasing them. I'm sure we must achieve success if we try unitedly.

I have also had good experience with PIC μCs. Used them in loads of projects (robotic, PC, standalone) before moving to Arduino.
You should try an Arduino before giving up on μCs. It's just plug and play (connects to the PC directly through USB). You'll have completed your first program within 5 mins. And it's much easier to interface with an RC receiver!

Hmm...that depends on your project. I got a 40pin Dev-board (with a PIC 16F877A) from 'robokits.in' a couple of years ago. Once you have the programmer, you can program smaller μCs too! I used the 16f877a for a combat robot and 16f676, 16f84 for line-follower, robo-race and other small bots in my third year.

But now I'm totally into Arduino!

No you don't, unless you are a total newbie. There's an LED on-board to get started with blinking programs. And you need a breadboard and some cheap components to get started with other fun projects. Go to the arduino website and check everything out, you'll fall in love with it even before purchasing it. Here's the site:
www.arduino.cc/

I got my arduino from 'http://www.embeddedmarket.com'. They have a 'sensor and motor' shield available which has line sensor, motor driver, buzzer, LEDs and Switch on it. Pretty much everything for beginners!
