Post by: sundaram on December 30, 2009, 03:31:55 PM
Hi RC Enthusiasts,

Any body interested in buying a complete package containing Mint Condition WFly FT06-A six channel 72 Mhz Transmitter along with 9.6 V Ni Cd 700 Mah Futaba Transmitter Battery Pack, Neck Strap, Six Channel 72 Mhz receiver and Blue Arrow Four Channel 72 Mhz 3 Gm Micro single conversion receiver along with UM - 5 / UM - 1 72 Mhz Matched transmitter and receiver crystals for all the components. Please look up post Ebay Item No 230417469692.

The package has been hardly used for six months and in considerably new condition. I am selling it as I no longer need it since I have already bought a Plantraco 900 Mhz Micro Transmitter and receiver.

This is good package for any RC enthusiast bigginers.

Though the transmitter is six months old I have hardly Used it for five to six days only. Since for most of my Flying I Use my Futaba 6EX 2.4 Ghz and Futaba 7C 2.4 Ghz only. The Transmitter has been upgraded to receive a 9.6V 700 mah Ni Cd Bty Pack via JST connector as in Futaba in place of eight UM-AA Bty.

I had bought this to Venture into Micro Flying. After I had bought Futaba 2.4 Ghz 4 gm four channel receivers and a Plantraco Micro 900 Mhz transmitter, I had no use for this package therefore i am selling it. Expected Price for the Package is Rs 3300/-. incl

As Mentioned in the ebay listing all the items of the package brand new price is total Rs 5900/-. Since Used for six months I had posted for Rs 3200 + 100 Shipping. I think it is a fare price expected. Anyone interested in the package less the Blue Arrow four channel 72 Mhz micro receiver may get it for less Rs 900/-

I completely agree Sir. Sandeep and Ankur get First and Second preference. If for some odd reason it doesn't work out with them, we can talk.

I am sure Sandeep will beat me to it.  >:D

Cheers!

Anwar

I feel that anyone who makes a commitment to buy/sell and backs out should get a negative rating.

Can i know, what make you think of negative marking Mr. Sushil, and what is the effect of negative marking on this forum for a particular member?

I feel that anyone who makes a commitment to buy/sell and backs out should get a negative rating.

Yep, got your point.  My thoughts are as follows...   and this is the part of running this forum that I don't like :(

1) If people are repeatedly (2 or more times) making offers against for sale items (even from different sellers) and withdrawing their offers (never making up their mind), then the seller(s) have the right to put a negative mark on the buyer.  It becomes more of an issue when there is a "lost sale opportunity" for the seller(s), but in almost all cases so far, we have seen someone else pick up the item immediately.

2) And to Sandeep's point of its impact on a member, it is just how society works, how people tend to conduct themselves more professionally in the face of a little bit of "public shaming". Everyone wants to avoid themselves projected in any negative manner, and the same applies here.

Making an offer and keeping the seller waiting is something that is best avoided.  When you make an offer, be firm.  The "grass is always greener on the other side" !

Dear Sundaramvelar,

I have sent you a PM. I hope my question "Is this package still available?" is not construed as a committment to buy. Rather, it was a simple query. The offer is rather tempting, I must admit.

On the topic of receiving Negative ratings - I would rather not be at the delivering or receiving end! Without a single complete model to show, it is rather difficult on my part to justify the purchase of a third Tx / Rx Unit. I have already bought a 4 CH from Prem Vijay and a 6 CH unit from Hanging Tough. Plus I REALLY need to buy a Dremel for myself which will set me back by 4K +.

I am not backing out, nor am I trying to justify any vacillation on my part. Neither is Sandeep, I'm sure. We all have our reasons which are absolutely valid from our point of view. If Mr. Sundaramvelar and the Administrator considers my posts as a binding committment, I stand by the deal. I'm sure I will need this 3rd set some day soon. However, if someone else needs this set more than I do, Mr. Sundaramvelar will have to use his discretion. Personally I feel Sandeep needs this set much more than I do. It wouldn't be fair to jump to any conclusions against him, I'm sure he has his reasons. That is my humble opinion.

I hope I have been able to express my thoughts clearly. Mr. Sundaramvelar, pl check your PM and revert.

Cheers!

VC

Dear Mr VC

Regarding offer for sale and withdrawls I agree with Mr Anwar completely. However I had put up this almost brand new package for sale at most reasonable price with a belief that any budding RC enthusiasts might benefit from it.

Even today I am very keen to sell it to Young RC Aspirants like Master Ankur. Unfortunately he has not responded at all after his initial eagerness. Futher apart from Ankur none other had clearly commited to buy it till date and they had only expressed thier eagerness to buy it. And an interest in an item for sale can not at all be construted as an commitment for purchase.

I have given you the reply to your PM in my PM to you. If you are interested please let me know I will give you details for further transactions.

Sir
I have sent you a pm, do check.
For this forum, all I would say is that I have already missed a deal from hanging tough (im sorry i dont remember the name correctly). This is my second shot at a purchase of a Tx/Rx set.
I really want to jump into RCs but I intend to begin from second hand, for a few reasons, firstly its tried and tested, secondly, if i damage the product(which i will never do intentionally) i will not feel very bad. As long as I am not earning money to buy the products I shall try my best to stick to second hand products.
And I have mentioned it from time to time that I am much more interested in building RCs than flying them. I feel flying a self made one will give me much greater joy and satisfaction that a pre-built one.

Regards
Vaibhav

Dear Mr Anwar,

Now Mr Vaibhav from dehradun and Master Ankur from Allahabad have now put me in a fix by depositing money of Rs 2200/- and Rs 3200/- respectively in my account on the same day.

Earlier Master Ankur wanted to buy the complete package and asked me to wait till last monday i.e 11 Jan. I had locked the sale post. later since there was no response from Master Ankur and since he was not repsonding to my PM also I had opened the post again. Mr Vaibhav expressed his desire to buy the package less the Micro receiver and I agreed. Accordingly he had deposited Rs 2200/- on 18 Jan in my account. On the same day there is also a deposit of Rs 3200/- without any intimation from Allahabad which I am sure is from Master Ankur and now I am in a fix and unable to decide as to whom I should give the radio and receiver rightfully.

Please give me a decision which is rightfully correct. I will return the money of the other person snd send the package to the rightfull owner.

Please do not put me in this position :(

Any decision you take in this matter is as good as mine or anyone else's on this forum. After all, we are all in this together.

Just the fact that you are showed the willingness to pose this question shows that you care about others feelings, and whoever ends up NOT getting the radio should be able to relate to that, and wait for another (hopefully even better) opportunity.

Now that since Mr anwar has also played it safe, it leave me no choice but put myself under the Guillotine and take this heavy hearted decision.

Master Ankur had not responded at all since after our last interaction prior to 04 Jan. I had waited for Master Ankur to respond till 11 Jan. Since Master Ankur was not responding at all I had opened the thread and closed the deal with Mr Vaibhav.

Even Now I am not sure wether the money of Rs 3200/- deposited in my account after Mr Vaibhav has deposited Rs 2200/- is from Master Ankur. Since it is a deposit from Allahabad I believe it could be from Master Ankur.

Since I had closed the deal with Mr vaibhav after no response from Master Ankur and further since the deposit of Rs 3200 is after the deposit of Rs 2200/- and lastly since I am not still sure that the deposit is from Master Ankur

" I decide to sell the radio and receiver to Mr Vaibhav"

My sinciere appologies to Master Ankur If the deposit of Rs 3200/- is from you at this stage. Please give me your account details I will transfer it back to you or give me your address I will send it back as DD. Better luck next time

Post my conversation with Col. Sundaram (Sundaramvelar), I had exchanged PM's with Vaibhav (Naatumach). I felt bad that had missed out on the deal from Hanging Tough earlier. I backed out from this deal as I felt Vaibhav deserved this set. I, personally, would have felt terrible if he again missed out on this second opportunity. IMHO, right decision taken, Sundaramvelar.

Naatumach, you've finally got the set - when is the party? ;D
