Yes this wont have the range you get with the others, but this is fine if you know the general area the rotor fell and need to pin point it

For areas where you have  NO IDEA where it is GPS should be more helpful, but again its costlier too.

I feel the same, there is a limitation if its BT, i seriously think for the longer range and better recovery the only thing that is going to work is GPS based tracking device.

I agree, but BT works fine if you know the general area of th fallen quad bt need to pin point it ( getting remote pics and audio will help A LOT there )
