   I got some centre plates laser cut, that can be used to make all kinds of multirotors. (Tri, quad, hex and octacopters) based of the RotorBones Anycopter hub kit.

Each set of centre plates will cost Rs. 90 + Rs. 70 (Flat rate S&H via EMS Pan-India upto 3 sets) (Discounts available for shipping beyond that. P.M. for further details)

Each set includes the laser cut centre plates ONLY(Top & Bottom Plate, Battery Mount and Boom Drilling Templates)

Booms and Other hardware NOT included. The hub has been designed to use 1/2" booms. Each set will come with a small sheet of paper with photos on the different types of setup possible.

Update: 1/2" Aluminium Booms can be included in the kit @ Rs. 1.5 per inch for custom sizes (kindly specify the size you wish your booms to be    (nominal handling fee of Rs. 30 will be added to the final amount(discounts available for larger orders) ) or Rs. 15 for a standard 12" boom, undrilled(

Hardware Pack Constituting of 18 Stainless Steel M3 x 25 Philips head screws and 18 Regular Nuts also available @ Rs. 90 (No additional shipping charges for it)


Thus total kit can cost as little as Rs. 240 plus shipping for a standard Quad and slightly higher for other variants  

N.B.: Actual hub kit from RotorBones costs $14 which is roughly Rs. 830

@ashok, the material used is 2.5mm pine HDF. It can support a good amount of load and will be stronger once booms are attached , certainly your own designs can be cut as well

Yash, one complete set for a Hexa that will measure 36" from spinner tip to spinner tip. Let me have a quote on this please. Inclusive of 6 aluminium booms, screws and nuts, centre plates etc. Would prefer to have the booms drilled for fitting. Also will need 6 smaller circles of 1.5" dia to be drilled and screw fitted at the tip of every boom (as motor mounts).

A 36"  MtM hex with all that you have asked for would cost you Rs 425+ 100 S&H

What is the dia of the centre plate and what length of the 18" boom will be bolted above/below it? I am trying to reach 36" tip to tip, therefore if the centre plate has a 6" dia and 2" of the boom is screwed in then I am left with 16" + 6" + 16" = 38" tip to tip measurements. That suits me fine as I plan on using 10" props.

All else that you have quoted is PERFECT!

The diameter is roughly 5 inches and each boom is bolted 1"  into the centre plates thus giving a tip to tip of 39" 17 + 5 + 17= 39"

Pls. Don't me me cutting you, you said 36" spinner tip to spinner tip, so only if you plan to install half the motor mount on the boom will the 36" tip to tip work, while if you wish to install the entire motor mount you would need an additional .75" (17" boom)  and I chose 18" only because it's in multiples of 1/2 a foot

Thanks will it be possible to let me have 8" dia centre plates and 16" tubes. I would like 2" of tube bolted into the plates.

Or even 8" dia plates and 18" tubes with 3" bolted in will do.

No. The quad is 27" MtM, that would cost 375/- inclusive of shipping.

      Instead of the previous Quad Kit, i have made another quad kit which is a lot easier to assemble and use.

The kit is Priced at Rs. 350 + Rs. 90 (Flat Rate Shipping and handling across India)

The kit will include:

1. The Kit
2. 32 Screws and Nuts (adequate for everything)
3. 6/8 mm sq. wood for reinforcements and landing gear.

The battery can be suspended via battery straps, but you will have to provide a landing gear if you wish to.

The Control Board holes are spaced 45mm apart (KK standard) and are easily switched between + and X. You may use foam tape to mount other sizes.

Spares (Booms and Centre Plates) will be available at extremely reasonable prices as well

I am making this available only on a preorder (shipping commencing on Wednesday/Thursday) since i need atleast 5-7 orders for the kit to make it economical.

Its all 2.5mm HDF, it will be reinforced using 6/8mm wood square rods glued to it.
