Indianaviator Beware of this troll market who is here only to palm off exorbitant items to unsuspecting buyers. seller is compulsively abusive, very fond of use of veiled abuses and then leaving it to their imagination to provoke/ insult anyone who questions accuracy of his sale cost posted.

Don't act naive now. you were way out of your line there for which your unconditional apology to affected forum member is warranted first. Learn some manners on how to interact with people on public forum. This is not a hawker's Bazaar.

There seem to be some bigger questions here:

1. There are undoubtedly some members here who do not participate in anything, but only join and post for the express intention of hawking their unwanted goods; possibly, trying a rip-off on some unsuspecting newbie. We have a case here of a certain member who has 21 posts, of which 20 are "For Sale." This is to my mind a clear abuse of what this forum stands for.
2. Use of offensive language in retort to an innocuous question, leading to a cascading effect. Unpleasantness all round.
3. As a forum for Radio Controlled modelling, are we going to be reduced to a Buy and Sell room? I hope not - there is such a wealth of information, knowledge here, and it is a great place to build long-lasting friendships with like-minded people.
4. Perhaps, a restriction can be applied, like some other forums do, wherein a person can only post in the "For Sale" section only after a minimum number of posts eg 40.
5. The "For Sale" Section should have a separate location from the main forum.

These are just some views I had after ducking all the flying mud, and would welcome the opinions of the more accomplished members here

His intention is pretty damn clear here. He does not want anyone other than unsuspecting Naive buyers to interfere with his sale thread and expose the correct market trend, so that he can go ahead and sell things at whatever price he deems fit. To that end he will stoop down to the level of challenging and abusing the questioning members to keep them away from his thread.

There is already an example of that today itself in his Cessna Sale.

I have answered why I have not chosen this route before, but I will re-iterate.

When you enforce such a policy, it inconveniences people who are into RC already, but found this forum only when they were looking to sell something.  There are lots of genuine cases like that, including multiple seniors members who are otherwise well known RC circles.

Also, the worst part of enforcing such a policy is that people who come with the intention to sell at any cost will start posting "Very good", "Nice Job", "Well done" etc 40 times in various threads, until they get to the post count required to post their "For Sale" ad.  We have enough noise already !

I believe I have considered all the facts here in making this decision, but I am open to suggestions/discussion.  I felt that dealing with the once in a while bad apples is better than inconveniencing other genuine sellers.


I have meant to do this for a while, at least removing it from the list of "Recent Topics" on the front page.  But with my hectic schedule, I just did not get time to come around a create a proper software "mod" to do this right (so that it can survive forum software updates).

There is no motive no intention here from my side. Only thing is this has gone too far and too specific.

Agreed there need to more safe guard for buyers, esp. novices ( including me) so that there are minimum or no cases of cheating/abuse.  40 post req still sounds low , sellers probably should be required to submit  some ID proof like eBay does.

First I didn't force you to buy the kk board. You were the one who wanted the board. You also said that if the board doesn't work with the quadrotor then you will take refund. Why should I? You don't know what you are buying? Then don't buy.
Secondly I had checked the board before sending it to you as I have been telling you. You are to ready to listen.
You can ask other members here with whom I had a successful deal before.
So before posting it here, try to settle it. I didn't say that I won't return you the esc?

1st of all ved... the i86 board u sold me... yes i very much wanted it...not the burnt up board...
u burnt up the board because u didn't know to put the signal wires properly..and then frustrated... u sold me the faulty board and try to act as innocent as possible...
i had a quad ready and i sent u a video as soon as i got the board din't i?

Hey Roby.. Glitch in your story. If you're asking ved where to plug the signal wire, maybe you don't know what to do either? What's to say that you didn't plug it wrong, burn it and then play ved? Got any proof that it wasn't working out of the box?

Worn torn and crashed? That board was in the air for precisely 3 minutes. Nothing more. Then I dismantled the aircraft for ved and took the props and hub home. Not before cleaning the board with a soft brush.
So why don't you go cry somewhere else. I think it's pretty obvious that the damage is not on veds side. You're just blaming him cause you're upset and have no one else to blame, and you can't simply accept the fact that you are at fault.

i'll send you the whole history of whatsapp conversation bro.. i sent the video plugging it in right direction...then ved says its plugged worng...he said signal wires won't come inwards in this...then he says he's not sure...
then he said that its a different board..

i read the 2 paged manual 3 times even before it was arrived...i made many copters before.. so i have an idea of how to connect things..

SHUT UP Ok. I and aniket are working together for 1 year now. and that tricopter was made by me and aniket only. So dont even day=re to say anything to him. And I am not a corrupt person.

I know how to talk to others. Not like you who always fire bad words in each sentence. Even I can send the conversation. But I have to maintain my respect also. And regarding the faulty part, I wont let that person's respect go down. There is something called as cellphone through which I can contact him and tell.

I didnt force you to buy the board. First day you said that you are not familiar with the board so you dont want to buy it. Next day you messaged me that you will arrange me a esc and in return give you the board. I dint tell you??
