RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

These engines are brand new engines just have a break in them

Hello Samad - Welcome to RC India Smiley

You above statement seems contrary to the status of the engine as seen in the picture.  It looks like a used engine by all means.

RC India expects nothing short of perfection when it comes to descriptions of classifieds sale items, and I am sure you can understand that it is for the benefit of everyone Smiley

Hello Mr Anwar
you are right that these engines are used and as you can see on my first post i have quoted that these engines have a break in them means that these engines have about 2-3 liters of fuel through them and if the engines that i am selling are used for over more then one year then the engines in the pics are not in such a good condition

Sorry, but something is lost in translation Smiley  The first post said "brand new", and now there is confirmation that there has been "break in".  But the condition of the engine in the pictures are NOT consistent with the just break in of a new engine, it seems they are used  much more.  You have posted scratches etc on the engine, so I do NOT imply that you are misrepresenting anything intentionally. The wording of the post is confusing though, and clarification is desired.

Hello guys
first of all i am sorry that by mistake i have writ that these engines are brand new i just want to say that these engines are in mint condition and they have hardly 2 - 3 liters of fuel through them and if these engines are used for more then one year then they are not in such a good condition as shown in the pics and i have said that these engines are converted  so i have cut down all the excess of metal and that is why the engine have some scratches on it due to cutting of excess of metal  and guys if anyone still want to ask some thing then feel free to contact me

In my opinion weight shuld not be more than 950 gms including exhaust. With 7500 RPM and 17*8 Prop the engine may develop around 5.5 to 6.5 kg Thrust. That means it can be mounted on a 60 size kit. You will end up adding a lot of weight at the tail to correct the CG because of the heavy engine mounted at the front. End result you have a very hevy plane and very little power to fly. You can check the weight of any plane engiens in this power range and, will be well within 1000 gms. Please note that this is only my personel opinion/experiance and nothing to do with the person or the engine he put on sale.

I had the same doubt since all 30CC. Gas RC engine were in the range of less than a KG, with about 3.3 HP output. But point to be noted is they are all two stroke.

However this engine is four stroke and has only 1.2 HP power. But weight is 2.5 KG. clear 1.5 KG more than standard RC gas engine of same size.

Only advantage is it has pumped carbeurator which will suck in fuel on its own without additional accessories.

To balance if you have to add further weight. Then it has lot of dead weight with poor power to weight ratio and a sluggish plane.

Only attraction is that it is at 20% the cost of the engine of same size. For other modification like boat, cart, bicycle it seems to be good buy for anyone interested.

Now almost al the standard engines available are fitted with walbro carburetor with diaphragm. And without any effort the fuel will be sucked in.
