The sale will include the transmitter, spectra FM module and Transmitter rechargeable battery. With the spectra module you don't need to worry about frequency crystals as the module can be set to any frequency of your choice. Upgrading to 2.4Ghz is as simple as switching the included plugin FM module with a 2.4ghz compatible module.
