Hi Sahevaan,

OOps...its the correct amount (Rs.1Lac).  If you see the whole hardware itself costs about Rs.90K (excluding the free spares..for eg the blades itself Rs.3000 etc). I only hope somebody pays the extra cost for getting fully built & ready to fly heli...that too completely configured. I hope you know the amount of time required for successfully configuring Helicommand...Smiley

Do let me know if you OR anybody is interested..I can still consider some discount.(may be my time cost of building the heli.. Smiley I really would'nt want to sell this one off, but I am planning to go in for 90size heli, which is really costs a lot...so cannot afford to continue having the TREX500..  Smiley

Thanks..

Just to clarify the TREX500 kit itself costs about Rs.34,000.  Helicommand 3A/D with USB & CD costs another Rs.35,000.  Plus the cost of Tail Gyro, Servo etc etc.....

mpnchar,
From what I know, for 90,000 you can get a brand new 90 size nitro heli with everything - Engine, gyro, servos etc.
Even a 50 Size nitro heli ( Raptor ) would cost 50k with everything .

I can say for sure that this price is not going to generate any interest.
You need to give at least a 50-60% discount before any seriosu buyers will post here.

Thanks... If you see the links of TREX & Helicommand which I included... you can see the price Ofcourse, a discount on TREX500 can be considered, but not on helicommand...it realy costs that much...

Not quite.  The prices have come down.

http://www.helipross.com/t-rex-500-esp-superior-combo.html

This is the entire, receiver ready Trex 500, with tail gyro servo etc (minus batteries). Their shipping is about $25, and even if you include a 20% customs (usually it is lower), the price will come to around Rs34K.  Now if we add the Helicommand, it will still be Rs.30K lower than what is being asked for.

I do not mean to discredit what you may have paid for the same, just pointing out some current market realities.

Hi Guys,

Thanks! Interesting...

@Anwar - As per you the heli + Helicommant itself are worth about $70K...which is more or less what I have also mentioned.

I'm only hoping someone pays a little more for a completely built & ready to fily heli...(with a host of spares..)that too with Helicommand... If you have used & configured a helicommand, you will understand the time it takes.  My offer is for somebody who wants a ready heli with top quality electronics.. Ofcourse, you should understand, I have not DEMANDED the price.  I have QUOTED... so anybody who's really serious would definitely DISCUSS... Also, Its not a desperate sale... Its just that I can fund my Maxi Joker 3 Smiley

@Saikat,

Quite disappointed that there are people who think hobby items to be "secondhand"...atleast I dont think hobby items as second hand...other way around, I think someone has put in his experience, built, configure & make it a perfect working one...so buying one which was used by fellow hobbist  would be a real privilege... that too...the one which does not have even a scratch anywhere & done only 4-5 flights..

I'm sure we hobbists are a group who share knowledge, experience, products etc.  So for me, its not about selling & making money, but to be able to share the experience as well....

I am not involved in this deal, but I just feel compelled to say something here. I'm not taking any sides, however, my friend Saikat knows a little bit about "its not about selling & making money". I have first hand experience as far as he is concerned, he gifts Futaba Tx's to people and gives away imported Balsa wood and props at throwaway prices. (Sorry Guys - NO MORE LEFT! I took them all... Grin Grin Grin So there is no point in  Bang Head now!)

Salute Ronny!

As Saikat said - Good luck with your sale!

No offence intended to anyone.

Regards,

VC

@Anwar - As per you the heli + Helicommant itself are worth about $70K...which is more or less what I have also mentioned.

That would be INR/Rs.70K  ($70K would be a bomb Grin

One thing you should note is that you have sort of admitted that a BRAND NEW set of the same items can be obtained in India for about 70K. People would expect some reduction on that, and will probably consider a small margin for your efforts (not 30K!).  It may be best if you post a updated sale price, even though you have made it clear that you are open to reasonable negotiations.

It is a nice heli !

Please mention all the electronics used and the whether or not you are including the Rx/Tx because at the price quoted you should have included a really awesome radio gear Cheesy . Would be interested to know but the price quoted is very expensive Huh? Sad

@Saikat - Thanks!

@Anwar - ofcourse, as I mentioned, anyone who is keen, I will discuss & give the best price..

@Sahevaan -  Please note the following:

TREX 500 ESP comes with following electronics (all of these are definitely included):
> 3x DS510 servos
> 1x BEC

Additionally,  following are also included:
> 1x DS520 Tail Servo
> 1X GP780 Tail Gyro
> 1x Helicommand 3A/D

I am not offering my Tx & Rx as I bought these also recently (JR9503/Jr921)

As I mentioned earlier as well, I can look at a discount for anybody who's really keen.

Thanks!

The Helicommand is a special device, and that is the main cause of the high price.  Unless you are interested in that functionality, there are lots of other choices (including getting bigger helis).

Yet another option is if the seller wants to sell them separately, with the Helicommand going first, I assume.

@Anwar...Ofcourse, I dont mind selling the Helicommand separately.. But I know the amount of time & patience required for configuring it correctly.. So was hoping somebody knows about that & would be interested in buying it together.. so that I could just share my radio settings.  With that the buyer can instantly fly the heli without any fear of crashing..

just a few points mate and please dont take this as a dig at you because its not Wink

helicommand 3A isnt all that and the helicommand 3D (which i have) is alot better so..... is it the 3a worth £250 to £300 or the 3D worth £300 to £400?

is the 500 the GF the CF or the ESP version

my brand new T500 cf with dx6i helicommand 3D ds520  rce600 cost around £1000 2yrs ago

now today i can buy a knock off hk500 for £50 and could get it up in the air with everything needed for £200 BRAND NEW add another £160 for the most recent heli stabalization and you can see i can buy 3 fully ready to fly heli's for the same price i payed for one 2yrs ago (all items needed including 2.4ghz radio gear can be found on hobbyking hobbycity website so you can confirm this for yourself)

now i admit this system will not be as well followed as the trex 500 or even as good but when you factor in that its a 3rd of the price with flight stabalization and a 5th of the price without why would ANYONE want to give you (basicly) the price of a helicommand 3D for for a job that takes 4hours??

do you see what everyone is trying to say to you here?

final thought my 1st 3 lipos came from align were 2600 6s packs and cost me over £200 for 3 Sad my last lipos were 3000 6s and cost $34 DOLLARS each :O that means with postage delivered to my door they were around £75 and were waaaaay better than the rip off align lipos Sad

@n3m1s1s - Thanks!

The Helicommand is 3D along with the CD + USB (CD+USB cable are normally sold separately)

Well, with regard to all the other points you mentioned, ofcourse its a matter of preference... Like I know many beginners prefer to start with a coaxil OR 250size heli...but I started with 500 size...Similarly, its a matter of preference and I think that's why people still buy TREX500 (seen some newbies buying TREX 700 as well.. Smiley  --- BTW, I forgot to mention, I have a completely unassembled FBL system as well for this... (only the FBL head system...no electronics..as I planned to use my Gyrobot900)..

@n3m1s1s - BTW, yeah even I use 3300 / 6S pack.. since i like to hover a lot, I also have a 11T pinon (apart from the standard 13T)..and this gives me a cool 10+ minutes of flight..

Apparently it causes couple of crashes when people are trying to setup it Wink  Well, not really, but setting them up is reported to be somewhat of a struggle.

They do seem to be cause people to do stupid things, like lifting a radio by the antenna in the above video, and an ever crazier and stupid stunt in the video below.
