My dad (88) was impressed enough to try it himself.
Surprised he was able to fly it with no instructions except that the throttle was on the left stick!

I am also eagerly awaiting the arrival of this Quad for my dad:) Inspired you K K Iyer Sir:) as a small Diwali gift. Indeed it would be a good idea for him to take a break from soduko and give this a shot.

Received my U207 :) Will be teaching my dad the basic controls soon. At first mine didn't fly very stable out of the box also noticed the stock charger takes much longer (0.5ma) compared to a normal USB phone 1 or 2 amp however after charging the battery my second flight it was incredibly stable and at some points more than my Hubsan too. The remote is tiny and takes some getting used to.
Some Extra batteries would definitely help.
And this so far is the best Quad iv flown for flips even better than a Hubsan :) 

Rcbazaar has 150 mah batts perfect for the u207. Only.thing is the connector will have to be changed to jst. On quad as well as original battery.

How does it hold up to impacts and crashes ? Do you supply extra props and batteries ?

Crash resistance is excellent. Comes with spare set of props. But no spare battery.
Great as an intro to quads. I like mine!
Kids are able to fly it with no instructions except 'throttle is on the left'.

Tested payload capacity of mini intruder quad, can lift 7gm and hover 8-9cm off ground, so a 240-300mah batt with jst connector shouldnt be a problem, will post results after i confirm if a 200-300mAh 1s batt can be used.

Please buy mini u207 with caution, no spares are available. Single damaged motor(which will happen eventually if you are an amateur flyer) will render quad grounded.
