you must see/read and check the Government Customs Rule...

Mr.'Importer' of all people, no one comes across these prices daily....
Considering the tx @ $50.22+$25(shipping)+$25(Considering the duty)= $100.22 which is = 6325 INR.
So that 'clearly' states that even applying the duties and shipping the cost of the tx alone isn't more than ~6k.

50.22$(tx) + 25$(shipping) + 50% customs(on shipping + cost of product) =113.22$ = Rs.7145(conversion @63.11 rupees per dollar)
So how is it coming to Rs.7500? ???

And even if you are doing a business and customs at gujarat is compulsory there are some states that give a slip to checking, why not send it to a relatives address there then ship it back to your address, wont it save on cost?

Please post how you have calculated your cost with every duty you paid on product.

I ordered a full size aircraft from hk and was charged only 15% duties. and the dollar rate is holding around 60-64 so can't use that too.

this is why I am telling you to send an letter and wait for the confirmation from your city customs officer when you get the confirmation just go ahead and buy it you might not be asked for customs as you have already got the permission

they do not gives a permission if we ask before import.

               = 4647.89 INR @ 1 USD = 62.97 INR

Customs: 50%

50% of 4647.89 INR = 2323.94

Total ( Tx + shipping + customs ) = 4647.89 INR + 2323.94 INR
                              
                                                = 6971.83 INR

Your quoted Price = 7500 + shipping

difference between price = 7500 INR - 6971.83 INR

Thetr is a simpler way. Customs issue a receipt for whatever they charge. Its also attached to parcels brought in by indian post. Why dont you share the receipt and get out of all controversies

If the customs or the post office has not given any receipt of the duty then you cannot prove that any duty was paid! I in knowledge- everyone who pays a duty gets a receipt/letter stuck on their consignment with the duty amount written on it.

Why you are Not try to import or not ask to customs FPO or our post office..

i already given phone number you must ask them about duty and transmitter...they will clear your doubt.

They are show me receipt but not given...they need to send back that receipt to the customs..as Postal department says...

Please if you have any doubt about custom duty and Receipt please ask to Our HONEST Government DEPARTMENT...

mbt1370, I still have a doubt, how does tracking details prove that you have paid taxes?

Moreover ,I have never seen a built thread from you, or any models bought by you flown, i.e your interest in this hobby seems to be purely commercial. Your signature too carries details on what you have for sale! You only seem to visit this forum to "SELL" items. And yet you are not an official LHS as far as I know! The customs may have got a whiff that you are trying to "Commercially Sell" these imported items on this forum . Hence they may be adding penalty or something  :giggle:. Other than that I see no logical reasons on you being charged 50/60% while others are being charged 30% on average, that too with valid tax receipts?

Anyways like it has been mentioned before, it is going to be really hard for you to sell such overpriced items, irrespective of all the justifications you have given without showing any actual proof of tax/custom receipts (showing tracking details doesnt prove anything my friend :(). Because other people are getting the same items from HK by paying much lower taxes, some lucky ones even go scot-free. So next time pay the customs only when they produce a receipt, that would be good start for you.

Why selling my Items:-
Because i unable to complete any sets, Like Plane or any Heli kit which i need to Import.
you can fly because you can Import anything without any problem...I Order rc stuff with 99% risk of detain and loss of money...Because they are takes Long time[2-4 month] to take decision ...And after long time if they release then they are impose custom duty like 40-50%.

That is not happening only with me...that happening with every importer who is from GUJARAT.
