I have five Gauge 1 (1/30 scale) JNR DD51 locomotives, made in brass & stainless steel and are true to scale engineering masterpieces.
The models are available as 12v battery powered and fitted with 2.4Ghz RC or as 24v DC track powered.

Reason for selling:These models are production surplus made by our company.

Length=575mm (over buffer beams); Width=98mm; Height=135mm (above rail top); Weight=8.5kilos

Model Features:  All brass and Stainless steel construction
 Photo-etched body overlays, with cast & machined brass fittings like vents, air horns, headlamps, marker lights, latches, handrails,
foot boards, axle boxes, sand boxes, hydraulics, snow plough, plumbing, lifting tackle, smoke stacks etc.
 Prototypical body rivet work using actual miniature copper rivets
 Chassis and power bogies are silver soldered for rigidity
 Brass radiator grills and exhaust fan coverings
 Working cab doors and exhaust fans and cab windows are glazed as in prototype
 Powered by 2 power bogies each fitted with a high torque DC motors and all metal two stage reduction gear drives
 Each bogie is fitted with sprung carbon electrical pickups for track power
 Also available are 12v battery powered versions fitted with 2.4 GHz RC & 20Amp ESC (battery packs not supplied along with)
 Fitted with Inertia/Brake control circuitry (track powered version) OR 30Amp ESC (RC version) with directional head/tail lamps
 Sprung centre bogies with detailed side frames & plumbing, hydraulics, sandboxes etc.
 Snap-fit cab roof for easy access
 Stainless steel insulated wheels as per G1MRA standards, on spring steel axles
 Axle boxes have bronze bush bearings
 Fitted with Aster Hobbies metal knuckle couplers
 A pair of prototypical photo-etched brass number-plates supplied with each model
 Each model carries an unique serial number
Paint schemes: JNR Orange/Cream OR Blue/Gold
