It was still sealed but all the parts were there. So what if it's open box? At least you know it was checked for anything wrong, ie crushed balsa. The way it flies and the joy the pilot receives won't depend if it came out of open box.
Sure you can order one from Hobbyking and pay $30 for shipping and then who knows how much Customs will want with such a huge box? To me it's a fair price. I'm still building mine so a video will follow. WWI biplanes maybe not popular in New Delhi but once you take one to the flying field it become a joy.
