Title: For Sale: Slash 4x4 VXL 2.4Ghz w/ few upgrades Post by: Divyam on March 08, 2012, 04:39:58 PM Up for sale is my 11 month old Slash 4x4. It has been upgraded with few small items.
Reason for the sale is that I am getting an MT4 G3. And I no longer need the Slash :) The following is what you get in the sale: 1. Slash 4x4 RTR incl. 2.4Ghz Traxxas Link transmitter and stock NiMH battery and wall charger. 2. RPM 2 stage pistons (Still in original packaging) 3. A set of Pro-Line Caliber SC tires. Lots of tread still present, as seen in the photos. (Ran with it 5-6 times) 4. 6888X Hardened Steel front drive hub. The stock one broke, so I upgraded. 5. Acer Racing ceramic bearings. I personally don't like the stock ones. Acer bearings are still in packaging. Only installed 2 bearings in the steering posts. 6. Also including a set of 4 hex screwdrivers. 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm, 3mm. The only size that's not available is the 4mm. There is still the L-wrench that comes in the box, should you need it. Few downsides to this sale: 1. I lost all the body clips. So you will need body clips to use the body on the car. They're available at almost all hobby stores that carry RC cars. 2. The body posts are pretty beat up. You can still use them, I just can't promise for how long ;D Price Breakup (Just for reference) :- 1. New Slash 4x4 - 27k in India 2. Acer Ceramic bearings - 90$ on Tower without shipping and customs. 3. Pro-Line Caliber SC - 60$ for 4 tires on Tower without shipping and customs. Expected price is 20k, slightly negotiable.
