Hey..  I just recently got the mini Slinger !  http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/mini-slinger-feedback-on-flying-wings/

Still not built.  I have got a brushless motor upgrade.

What was your experience with the Slinger ?  Any photos or videos ?

hi,

have flown it with the brushed 400 motor which came with it and on 7.4v lipo. flies ok due to marginal power. will be very dicey with a brushless upgrade.

Though these Zagi types are amazing lookers they are extremely unstable and with BL set ups you are always like at the edge of the cliff don't know when they will fall off

Actually, after flying the Mini Slinger, I am not sure if these so unpredictable.  I found the Mini Slinger pretty tame (the smaller size should have made it even more twitchy, but it was same or better than many profile 3D foamies).  Slow flights were also pretty good, and my brother also had no issues flying it at all.

The brushless upgrade did help with power when needed (when the winds picked up).  Will get a bigger sized one later, for sure !
