if it is okay i am ready to take one esc. I am a novice so please advise if i can use it standalone with an airplane. Sorry for being naive doing it for my son.
Yes a single esc can be used for a single motor in an aircraft , if there are more than one motor in an aircraft the same amount of esc's would be needed
Things to consider -
1 - check what is the maximum amount of AMP your motor can pull for example a motor with a rating of 22A should use a ESC of 30A to be on a safer side
2 - check the no of cells a motor can Handel for example 2s , 3s etc
3 - bench test the motor and the esc and see if any of them gets hot
