Post by: K K Iyer on March 29, 2014, 11:39:11 PM
Hi everyone,
INDORE BIPE is now on offer.
Need to make space for new models.
Flying pics/videos available under Beginners Zone board.
Has Donkey ST 2204 1750kv motor, 10a ESC combo from Hobbyking.
8x4 prop, 1" wheels and 2 servos.
Asking price 2500. That is slightly above the cost of materials.
Plus shipping if over Rs 200, else included.
Ideal for newcomers
Only needs your Tx/Rx and a 500-1300 mah 2s
or 1000mah 3s lipo.
Offers?

Edit:
Never sold a model before. But one grows old and learns anew...

I find that if you include the lipo (or two) more people become interested in buying.

With a 10 amp ESC, that 1750 kv motor requires propping down to 7" if using a 3S lipo or else the ESC will burn out on the first flight.

@theleabres
Thank you. Absolutely relevant. 3s edited out.

Actually we fly it with only 2s 1000 mah. Last sunday used a partially discharged 3s for just one flight at part throttle.

Lance
One day must inherit one of yours, and pass on another of mine to some youngster based on your pricing model of 'model free+ cost of electronics'
Regards

That bipe looks very nice.  It reminds me of my GWS Pico Tiger Moth with 1100 kv motor and 9" prop.  A 2S lipo is all I needed to fly it.  I could have propped down and used a 3s but it would have been overkill.

Normally flies on 3amps / 25watts!
Hope you've seen the 'INDORE BIPE - A model for newcomers' thread on Beginners board.
Many pics and short clips.

@Iyyer Sir, why are you letting this beauty go??
Its been a joy watching this model fly the way it does - gracefully - slow, steady and often hands off !!
thinking of our Sunday flying without this bipe itself gives me a heartache!! :'(.
Im sure "RC Aunt" wont approve of you letting this model go!! ;D
