Control line models are similar to RC models but are controlled with wire instead of radio control. Engine for control line model does not have throttle control. Engine is set to constant throttle on ground and then model is flown with constant throttle. I dont think using control line engine for rc would be a good idea as one needs throttle control while flying rc model.

You can read here more about control line flying.

Dear Kiran,
Offcoure it can be used for flying, but using lines(control lines). Sharma Diesel also have throttle version, but the throttle response in diesels is not as good as that of glow.

Secondly, starting diesel may prove to be much tricky for beginner.

If you want to go for control lines, then it may prove to be the best deal for you.. Sharma diesels are durable, maintinance free, long lasting..
