Yes, this is my scratch built octa copter, using 8 motors, speed controllers, in a unique V configuration. Designed for : - Redundancy - with 8 motors can survive even with one motor or esc failure - Vision - With the V design has a good front vision. with no props in view - Load - Has 1500gms of spare thrust available - Accurate - Frame has been designed, plan drawn and implemented by me. Accurate to a milimeter. - Crash proof - Unique design to minimize damage. All you would need to replace is the basswood sticks ! - Portable - Can be dismantled/folded/reassembled in 5 minutes to a portable size. - Dual battery pack option - Can use a single or dual battery pack. Center frame designed to let you adjust a varity of loads Specs : Motors : 8 24 Gms Outrunner motors. Total theoretical thrust : 3.5kgs+ ESC: 12 Amp Plush - 8 Nos Frame : 10mm basswood, covered with original monokote. Glass fiber center and joiners. Uses Nylon bolts and hardwhere everywhere. Includes wiring and connectors.
