Hey Jerry man... I hope you are going to spend the time in something much more valuable to you. Wish you come back sometime later...

I guess instead of going with bigger plane, people should also invest in few  smaller planes which keeps the hobby live in  busy times... just put it any corner of car, take lunch /tea break and fly it in a park.. great stress releaser...
When you get time, take out your big gasser, go to the flying field and have good time with Pals..

Wish you all the best.. keep in touch with the RC folks..

its always sad to hear something like that. we are all so passionate about the hobby we do and by seeing someone not able to do so is always a sad story. i agree with Ujjwaana. keep your stuff for better times to come and perhaps go for a small easy mentionable plane which you can pack in your car easily and take it out by the smallest opportunity you get. you must know for yourself that its a great stress buster.

I would like to have the The FMA Direct Co-Pilot, and Iam assuming that it is the CPD4 Flight Stabilization Unit that you are mentioning.
Which is the 30A BL esc that you have mentioned ?

Learning to Fly

Well,

Its a post after a very long hibernation. I think I may have been off the forum for over a month now. I must say that I have had similar thoughts as jerry. While I do enjoy this hobby and want to build on it, the problem I am facing is of a lack of support from friends and family who simply do not understand my passion. Further, all alone with no co-flyers in sight for mentoring, it does become rather difficult to progress - I am yet to learn to fly properly so keep building and crashing which again is rather demoralizing. Lastly the work pressure sometimes leaves very little time for the family and hence taking time out for the hobby may not be possible.

A lot of times, I have thought that maybe this is not the right time for me to engage in this hobby, but as of now the passion overrules everything, so what the heck Cheesy Cheesy

BTW, after the last crash, decided to try and build a high wing pusher trainer.....

I am one of these/those. Took a break for almost 12 years. When I re-started, many doubted that the initial exuberance would last more than a few months. Have proved them wrong!

Hi Jerry ,
It is sad to leave a hobby which no one around has passion for except you.  But I am sure you will come around.  I had a break of 4  years until I found new group emerging and having fun near by . Came  back last year and now have bigger pile of Junk( what family thinks of it) .So stick around bro and don't go too far away.

I am interested in ( always a sucker for electronics and such toys) if you are willing to split the Items , let me know.

•Myvu Original Crystal video glasses(USA) with amazing clarity and USB charging, fairly new
http://www.myvu.com/crystal_or_black.html

•1.3 W. 1.2 GHZ video transmitter + receiver(new)  <<  what brand or make is this one? Link pls.

•Small ccd camera(sony lens) with all cords and stuff  <<  what is the resolution here ? link pls.

thanks
morli
