Details of the FY21AP system :

FY21AP is a engineering masterpiece which utilizes a 3-axis gyro and tri-axial accelerometer to form an accurate drift free attitude stabilization system. The unit also utilizes GPS and barometric altitude sensing for accurate 3-dimensional positioning of the aircraft. By combining attitude control and positioning, a comprehensive inertial navigation system and autopilot is provided to you in a small (55 grams) and compact package.

Utilizing FY Tech’s proprietary algorithm the FY21AP calculates the aircraft attitude in 3-dimension and detects any changes to the model’s horizontal positioning. If attitude change occurs, controlling signals will be sent to the ailerons, elevator and rudder to counter the movement. By continuously doing this, the plane is kept in a state of stabilized equilibrium, resulting in a smooth level flight.

• GPS, Barometric Sensing with Autopilot (RTL & Auto Circling)
• Apart from attitude stabilization, the FY-21AP is also a standalone autopilot system.
• All it needs is the GPS receiver (5 satellites locked). You only need to flip the designated 3-position switch and Return to Base (RTB) or Auto Circling will be activated, along with altitude hold.
• The auto circling feature is fantastic for aerial photographers, while RTB can be programmed as part of your Receiver failsafe system. Should you lose RC control with your aircraft, the FY21AP will automatically turn it around and bring your precious back to you. It is that simple!

Your RC Rx remains on the ground connected to the remote adapter. The plane flies using the data modems. RC signals are transferred to the aircraft using the data modems on the 433Mhz band. All channels including throttle are controlled through the GCS.

The price $528 is with 2.4Ghz data modem at 100mW power. The range of that system is only 4kms. Please check the description.

The one that I have is the most powerful radio at 433Mhz band and a 2000mW power. Hence the difference.
