RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

As we intend to keep the sweepstakes running for the foreseeable future, we would like to get some member opinion/direction on the prizes offered in the future.

Note the following though...

1. We do want the prizes to be somewhat beginner friendly (i.e., particularly useful to beginners), is what "I personally believe"  Wink

2. If the existing poll options/choices are not good enough, let us know and we will add your preference to the list.

3. Remember that you can vote on multiple choices, up to 4 !

4. Be sure to pick from choice 1 or choice 2; in addition to the item choices from 3 onwards.

So, please help us help you, by actively participating in this poll  Thumbs Up

I was hoping [2] above would cover it.  Just let me know what changes (preferably additions, so that existing votes are still valid) you want, and I will update the options to reflect that.

RC India - Flying and racing with open minds !

Looks like people like simple prizes, but more frequent.  I think there are more electric flyers (and even nitro flyers are mostly people who do electric also), so that is another consideration.

Any one who has not voted, please do so.

Information sharing improves knowledge of both.

Hi,

There is no RTF model option(except heli).

Slowflyer IR models are quite cheap now rather than RF, and a perfect beginner RTF plane (but indoor). Moreover, very highly experienced aeromodellers also have found without IR/indoor plane. And it may be given from begineer to expart. In my personal openion, it must be here. But the cheap RTF Helis without gyro I think all purchased at least one and can not be used.

Micro 200-220mAH Li cells with small SMD LED setup also may be considered.
Cell costs from Rs45/- to Rs100/- and SMDLEDs are Rs3-5/- per piece.

Rubber powered ornithopters can be options of small gifts.

Again, free gifts are always stimulates the person. For the benifit of this hobby, I would be happy If I got the gift including my 3 known friend, like servo rather than I got an Nitro RTF.

I got the gift of TAN Sport rubber from Soikatda which improves my devotion to this hobby. At least I use 10 minutes of work and half an hour thinking+reading+browsing over this hobby.

The largest gift to me is the friendship of this forum members (Amature devoted aeromodeller with open mind.

The gift taking will improve the helping/giving mind which is essential for amateur.

Anwar Sir,

If possible, make a person of the month winner (May be 2 or 3 catagory, Diemention challenge, Craftwork, Artwork, + lots more). Gift a certificate, A good colourful teaShrt with "RCInda Winner" with Logo. Insted of teashirt, it can be another type like miss world type identifier or like he-man's chest strap or even Hat or cap. It will serve two perpose.

1) The person percipeting in any RCHobby contest or show will definitely wear showing that he is not the begineer and already winner of ... Again the certificate will be produced to the student's Extra curricular activity (being Tech Based, to other commercial business minded interviewer they will prefer our member as advanced employee and our member got an advantage.)

2) The publicity of our open minded forum rather than other business oriented/minded forum of India and thus broadly benifit to ths hobby.

Thanks
