Title: Re: Fuel tubes Post by: saurabhhsrivastavaa on December 29, 2020, 11:07:29 PM Nitro fuel can use silicone tube but gasoline will eat the silicone slowly. For gas, either tygon or neoprene would work.

Title: Re: Fuel tubes Post by: sanjayrai55 on December 31, 2020, 05:37:33 PM Aquarium Tubes are not silicon, nor are they heatproof
It's very well to say one can always change them, but there is a possibility a failure in a tube will lead to a stalled engine, which could have severe consequences. As Silicon tube is ~ 200-250 per metre, it will cost you about Rs. 100 per model. Small price to pay fo security Title: Re: Fuel tubes Post by: saurabhhsrivastavaa on January 01, 2021, 03:02:28 AM Agree sir...
Not all aquarium tubes are silicone... Now most of the aquarium tubes are Vinyl plastic. Gone are the days when silicone tubes were used... But you still get silicone tubes in pet shops. Though most of the places it has been replaced by cheap vinyl. By replacing the tubes I meant was easier for cars. As I am now more into cars and boats, I never realized that a broken tube in the air could be a disaster... Point taken... Cheers.
