I am new to the flying scene at Bangalore. I am looking for synthetic oil and castor oil for preparing the fuel. Can someone guide me to their source in Bangalore. I already have methanol and nitromethane with me.

You should be able to find Castor oil at local chemist shop.

I bought a can of methanol from India Hobby Centre, Mumbai(no idea if they stock it now)  and Nitro from Prince Street, Mumbai. I had bought Castor Oil from shop in Dadar Market but unfortunately left the can back in Mumbai. Castor oil was easily available at shops retailing edible oils in Dadar.

the cheapest and good quality Methanol and castor oil are available at any chemical whole sellers who sell chemicals to schools, colleges and hospitals.  Just check yellow pages for the dealers..... maybe call JustDial and find out in your city.  The same people also hold Nitro Methane too..... But may not sell you or may give just a small quantity... (that would be sufficient for your needs).  Mind you Nitor Methane falls in dangerous chemicals due to its explosive nature of cumbustion.... hence the reluctance to sell it to unauthenticated individuals....
By the way..... fuel made without Nitro methane is good enough for normal use... On adding Nitor Methans the following should be expected as change in engine performance:-
1.   There is a marginal increase in power output... that may not be of much use for regular flying.... but will definately be of assistance when doing competition flying.....
2.   There is a marked increase in engine operating temperature..... this results in higher wear and tear..... thus reducing the overall engine life..........
I will definately go for non nitro methane fuel as I want longer engine life from my engines.....
Happy Flying
