Title: how to tune vp20 oscillating perry pump on OS 90 fs surpass Post by: shadman_alam on July 04, 2012, 12:11:53 AM Recently i got a vp20 oscillating perry pump for OS 90fs surpass.
Modellers have got great results using these pump.You get better throttle response, tach much better rpms n roll bigger props.If and only if u get the tuning of this device right. Presently im using a 14x6 master screw prop which sucks at prop hang.. U can literally see the bird slipping.. now i m planing to switch to a 15x4 or 16x4 wide apc or wooden prop with this pump added to the engine. So again if anyone who has used this pump before please share the right method to synchronise the high end needle of the carb with tuning screw on pump. I tried refering to the Manual but tuning procedure is not described properly.
