Title: Methanol Retail Shops in New Delhi Post by: areebnazim on November 03, 2014, 08:33:34 PM Can anyone help me with an online shop or RC hobby shop in Delhi that sells methanol in small quantities (1-5 litres)? I am looking for cost effectiveness while buying RC fuel.

I have about 20 L in the hangar. If you want are most welcome to take some. GS PS: That would be just methanol. If you're looking for fuel, you'll need to arrange castor (and optionally nitromethane) separately. 1. Plain castor, works for me. Klotz and Mayuraa chem have synthetic additives which have their own advantages. 2. After run from anywhere is good. Singer machine oil works great as after run and glycol (coolant) works well for cleaning up gummed parts. cox 049 will most likely need nitrometh given the cylinder volume. You might want to speak with Sundaram sir for guidance on the cox. Most likely source for castor oil ? as all the kirana shops and marts located near my office don't have them :'( . Methanol on its way.
