there are a lot of thing you  have to  look for while a  purchase....

the engine u suggested  is a car one... and designed for car..

while considering the engine u may have to consider the following things

1> For car, plane, heli
2> size
3> ringed non ringed
4> 2s/4s
5> glow/gas
6> brand (OS, ASP, TT, Magnum, super tiger, Tower, YS, Webra, UMS..... etc)
7> cost

for a plane i follow a simple thumb rule....
1> buy an engine for a plane( if u own a plane)

OR

2> buy a plane for an engine(if u own an engine)

if starting new... get an  entire setup matching....!

Hi,

thanks for that information. Eventually i would like to get into nitro helis. given the cost involved in nitro heli , i don't want to invest so soon into it . I was thinking of buying a toy radio car and fit it with this engine. not sure if it works but ya its just 30$ so i can take that risk  :-)

What  kind of fuel does glow engine require?
Ring and non ringed???

i would rather suggest u to buy one for a plane and experiment...
reasons
1> u can test run or practice starting on the test bench with just a prop on  it... rather than all the assembling on  the car....

2> easy and cheap to build a plane than a car...!
