Title: New engine for the entry-level players
Post by: eleven on July 03, 2009, 12:19:39 PM
We had developed the new type of engine----26hp,it is a rotary inlet valve bodies! The power is more better than 26cc type. We call the new engines 26hp for the moment, and we will name it later when we marketed, the 26hp make a beautiful appearance, and the weight is only 0.9kg. But it has power of 32cc, the jxf(18*8)come up to 6700rpm, the lower weight and the highter power, it is more convenient for the new entry-level players ;d ;d

Welcome to RC India :)

I assume you are a manufacturer of engines ?

Please post your company details (including website, if any), pictures of the product, pricing, warranty, availability in India (or else where) etc.

We are always interested in manufacturers being active on our forums, but detailed information is vital.

Hi eleven,

Maybe you can send us an engine over to Chennai, India for us to review :)!!  We would be more than glad to test it out and post the results!!

I am just on the verge of starting a 50cc build for me and a 26cc build for a friend..

Post some pics and details of the engine as well!

- Chan

Hello Anne -

Instead of each member contacting you separately via email, kindly post details of the engine and approximate pricing and shipping costs here.  Unfortunately for us, your website is in Cantonese/Mandarin (not sure which one), so it is not very helpful to us.

A lot of members here are looking for affordable but performing engines, and if the word spreads through here, that will be great entry for your company into India.

Also, do you currently sell these in other countries like USA ?  If so, under what brand ?  Is there some website reference we can access ?

That is a good start, but we will sure love a bit more much needed information.  Things like prices, shipping charges and warranties; to start with.

I see threads like this one (http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/fg68/29092-xyz-50cc-engine-did-you-try.html), where the cost of a 50cc is $250. Is that still the price ? How about shipping charges to India ? At least approximations

What is the approximate price of the 26cc ?

That clarifies things quite a bit.  So you are looking for dealers to take up marketing of the engine in India.  So if someone in India wanted to buy the engine now, what would you suggest ? Is there is a China/Hongkong/Taiwan seller with proper prices and shipping costs displayed on a web store ?

BTW, noticed that someone in China started selling the 26cc ones for $129 :o  So the US distributor for upset and quit promoting this brand (http://www.flyinggiants.com/forums/fg68/29092-xyz-50cc-engine-did-you-try-13.html). I guess that is just part of life/business.  That is a great price for such an engine.

The reviews are not bad on the product itself.  In the same thread it is noted that the engine is not advisable for 3D. Is that a fair statement ?

in some sense, this because of the quantity they order, the different quantity, the different price, the more order, the lower price, add to the  carriage, there must be different price, and the price we quoted is the cost price,we really can't cut down the price if someone only order fewer, just like:some dozens of engine!

Both these posts say these are warbird type engines, not suitable for 3D. Comments ?

This is interesting.
I have been looking at the XYZ engines on the HobbyKing website for a few days and reading about it too. I think they are more like Zenoah engines (who knows if Zenoah engines were actually made by XYZ ! ) , in the terms of size/power/features.
They seem to be low profile engines more suited for scale applications, and as the pictures/specs say, some even have magnetos ?
$130 for a 26CC engine seems to be an attractive retail price. I may go in for one to see their performance ..
