Franky speaking, Flashing is required if you need high strength bonds and almost untearable parts. But if you are beginner, then you dont want to worry much abt flashing. Just use a simple lighter that is described in the rediff link for flashing critical joints, the rest can be just glued using thin/medium ca w/o flashing.

You can see the kind of torch used for flashing large areas in this video.

Also note that flashing is an art. you may need to practice on a small piece of coro first and then on the plane.

Krish,

You do not need to flash coro to bond. In fact, flashing coro is a delicate process and should be done with care. Too much exposure would warp the coro. Too less you would have a weak bonding. The best method is to sand the surfaces to be bonded so that the top shiny smooth layer wears off. Now, you could use anabond/CA to glue them together.

Sanding means rubbing the surface with ordinary black colour emery sheet rite? Or some other paper is there?

Yes. You could use the brown colored ones (for wood) as well. Just make the surface rough enough for the glue to hold on. Test it out on a sample coro before proceeding with the actual build. Further, I have noticed that the normal anabond do not work well during rainy days.. may be due to excessive moisture on air. Anabond 555 is better but still the moisture content has some thing to do with the setting time.

couldnt get a good and regular source --- and hence I have started making it on my own finally  Grin  ...

So any one ever needing the same, can now simply get it though me - have a look at ,my link below:

YA. I think it will be Buatne Propane Mix ( 60% Butane, 40% Propape) .

Though I do not understand the application that you have mentioned.
