Saw this engine last friday at Dubai Field. It looks much easier to tune. Quiet powerful for the size and weight(Less than 550gms)

Nice. This or a derivative will soon feature in cars. HPI racing Savage with gasoline engine is expected soon. I thought the Saito ones were the smallest. But weight at 545gms is a concern.

Manoj bhai  - Are these 9cc engines being used on .40 and .46 sized models ? Are people doing 3D (prop-hanging / torque rolls) with these ?

Thanks Sanjay, yeah just finished 4 sorties on the YAK  ( prep for the meet) in the office now. I have a 15 cc , good engine very good pull, can swing a bigger prop, rcexel ignition unit doesn't require cooling (at least here , it is -7 deg in the morning) , finding the spark plug is a big PIA, one caution for all who are buying this engine, please check all fitting before starting, my walbro carb came loose and hit the prop, it was a wooden prop so no damage to the carb , prop broke. It will be a challenge to find gas pipe which is flexible enough for fitting inside the small fuel tank, I had to add additional weight so that the klunk falls easily,

Here I was freezing my a** off in Delhi at 3 deg C! Fingers working OK on the sticks in the cold?

My flying gloves (dupont) works fine, thinking of fitting skids, one inch of frost on the grass, engine requires good 3-5 mts of running for warm up, 5000 rpm is good rpm for break in and warm up.

@ Anwar Gi..
Sorry for the late response.. I have only seen it once at the field with Mr. Buti Swaidan. It was fitted on a High wing trainer and was flying great. I will check with him regarding the real performance an update. He was trying it for the first time. Mr.Buti has a new shop near The Al Sili flying field.
Please check out this video. Mr. Buti is the one in Red T Shirt.

Hi,
Question for all Engine & Heli Gurus
Will this go into a 50 size heli & work

Regards

I never flew a heli except in simulator. I don’t think its meant for Heli. Its bulky, Less RPM compared to a heli engine etc etc. From the looks,  you may have to make lot of modifications on the heli kit to suit it. I hope some one fly a heli will reply..
