1. Built with bigger heads with fins for better cooling (as there is lack of direct airflow around them in most cases). 2. Tuned for mid (to high) range performance (usually via how the carb is designed). 3. Built for more torque. Using heli engines on airplanes is OK in general, but using plane engines on helis is not recommended. 1. The main needle is generally very close to location where you would normally find the prop on an airplane engine 2.
