hello flyers,
I've recently bought a pusher jet(jetstar ARF,46size).Problem is that when the engine is mounted its very tail heavy. The manuals on its package have a very limited instruction.Should i put some additional weight on the nose?if so what type of weight should i put.I'm a little worried of putting weight on the nose as the fuselage is made of balsa. any ideas?? Help Me

Have you already exhausted other usual tricks, like moving your receiver battery towards the nose inside the fuse ?  Not sure about this model, but moving the tank, or changing the size of it may be another option.

Balsa structures are very strong, assuming the quality of the model is good.  You can also reinforce it.

VTOL - Vertical Take Off & Landing

the best and easiest way would be to add some washers on the mounting tabs to give it a bit a extra downward thrust and this shall resolve your problem of tail heaviness

hi,
thanks for your advice.ive  already moved the reciver battery on the front nose.but it still is tail heavy.I'll try moving the tanks but what worries me is that the fuel line is going to be quite long will this affect the fuel supply while its airbone.I'll also try to  add some washersfor the extra down thrust.thanks again for your advice guys.
