Title: RC plane at customs Post by: shanmuganathan on January 30, 2019, 10:00:25 PM I recently purchased RC plane made of balsa wood from usa. It got stuck in chennai customs. They are asking DGCA clearance and DGFT license to release it. It doesn't have remote and engine in it. If someone come across this situation please help me.

Please write back to Chennai Customs that you have not imported any restricted item. Hope you are luckyenough to get your parcel cleared without any problem. Incidentally, why did you import this? Anyhow if they are really not gonna let it go, then just ask your carrier for return shipment, at-least you might recover some of your hard earned money back. Amain.com will surly accept returns and will refund you. But first try explaining to them that the model has nothing to do with any frequency or radio equipment. Goodluck, :) |
