Title: Scout - in Nitro Post by: sanjayrai55 on July 01, 2020, 10:49:17 AM I've built quite a few Scouts using electric - typically a 3548-100 KV with an 11*5.5 prop
Decided to modify one, make it a tail-dragger, and use a 25 ASP Nitro with a 9*6 prop Here is the log with electric, has the specs too http://www.rcindia.org/electric-planes/scout-15-adapted-to-corro-electric/ Brief Specs: Span: 50" Chord: 9" Type: Low Winger Sport, aerobatic trainer AUW: ~ 1.25 Kg Title: Re: Scout - in Nitro Post by: sanjayrai55 on July 01, 2020, 10:52:11 AM (https://i.postimg.cc/4yyLyqS0/IMG-20200326-114954.jpg)

Stable and predictable, yet agile enough for most aerobatics. A real pleasure to fly The Nitro engine gives a lot more "punch," and with a litre of fuel, can easily fly 6 sorties of 10+ minutes each on that frugal ASP Title: Re: Scout - in Nitro Post by: R C on July 03, 2020, 08:51:08 AM Model looks superb Sir :)
Do share video of maiden flight. Title: Re: Scout - in Nitro Post by: sanjayrai55 on July 03, 2020, 09:39:17 AM Here are some videos of the electric version

Especially in a cross-wind Title: Re: Scout - in Nitro Post by: shirsa2001 on July 03, 2020, 12:11:26 PM

Great flying.... @Arvindkharebpl Those team international cricketers are all over India. On Sundays they all occupy any empty ground available. We also face such situation and have to abort our flying sessions. Title: Re: Scout - in Nitro Post by: shirsa2001 on December 29, 2020, 08:16:38 AM Amazing stable flight. Really nice.
