Nearly done with a scratch build, a small ASP 21 sized nitro plane. It is heavy, about 1.9kg when completely loaded so no 1:1 thrust ratio! ASP says that the engine puts out over 500 watts but I doubt that, i am guessing in the real world about 450! Do you think that it is too heavy? I am really risking it all because it is a profile plane and I am trying out the new Kline Fogelman aerofoils so I have no idea what sort of lift I am going to get!! Can't wait to maiden it but I am nervous, never done a maiden before! Please let me know what you think, need all the advice!
