I just bought the Thuder Tiger Ready mk3 kit . The instructions that come with the kit are quite confusing.
If any of you have built this model before, or even have it with you now, please reply to this thread. I have some doubts which i need help with.

I've just completed a TT Ready .


What do you want to know ?

1) mounting the aileron servo:i glued the servo rails S and SS to the servo well. Have drilled holes (3 mm) thru them to accommodate the servo. However, later i read in the futaba manual about rubber grommet and brass eyelet. Could you share photos of the servos you've mounted (as many and close-up as possible) so i can mount the servos?

2) The nose wheel/front landing gear: instructions were very cloudy about this. I also believe i might be missing some parts > i installed part B (dunno name, but in the kit it's called so) at the front. I also have the nose gear, wheel , wheel stopper .Please share photo of
 a) which screw you've used to lock the nose gear into nose gear steering arm(part F)
 b) what you've used to block the nose wheel form falling out (I think it's wheel collar, but what screw/bolt goes into that?
 c) close up photo of other two rear wheels as well. Even here, i didn't undertand what arrangement to use to prevent wheel from slipping out.

I just figured out 1) above and finished it successfully. Can you please help me with the remaining questions ?

Attaching servo mount pics

nose wheel mounting - it seems you have followed the manual
 for locking the nose gear steering arm to the nose gear leg - there should be a grub
screw - 3mm-4mm with allen head

for retaining the nose wheel use a metal retainer - the one supplied in the kit is a plastic one
and will not last

rear wheels use the long 3 mm bolts with the head side out - put the wheels thru and thread thru the
main gear legs.

Are these meant for the tank mounting (only thing i haven't done)

From the last - four wood screws is for mounting the engine

the thin threaded rods is for your elevator push rod - for fine adjustment of clevis.

Last Sunday, I saw a TT ready crash at jakkur. Half the wing had broken off. When I saw inside, it was nothing but a thin layer of plastic stuffed with moulded thermacoal. The thermacoal had broken with little pressure from the crash. Wondering why TT guys didnt fill this up with EPP. Looks like they wanted more business than quality   

I dont think its an Ideal Beginners plane as one would get the opinion of. BTW how ever such brakes can be easily fixed by putting a thick CF tube and epoxy it back. Better than balsa I guess for beginners.

thanks for the input. But i've already bought mine and am almost done finishing it. Let's hope for the best. Hopefully I won't get to see the insides of my plane 

Ya, All the very best man   Didnt mean to scare you. If you are a beginner make sure you sim up a lot on different kind of planes. that sud help.
