I am very much game gusty.   ;D.

What Engine you are thinking about for the bird. I have an NGH 9cc Tuned and running well, ASP 0.52. and OS 0.60 with Parambir for sale will pick up if required. All are capable of Prop 12x5 or 12x4.5

TT 0.75 4S is what i am looking at (a) for swinging a bigger prop so that i get some prop wash for 3D (b) I heard she is tad bit tail heavy by design 0.75 should take care of it

PS

NGH aint a bad idea either, my NGH too is ready to roar, what say go with NGH ?

Will try NGH surely. Making one coro engine test bed model too for the frequent flying urges and unrestrained flying requirements. Will test run all engine  with all prop combination before mounting.

I am sure NGH 9cc will surely do once you overcome tuning issues.

Commenced on the build log yesterday.

Box came neatly packed with all required accessories without any hassles like always in excellent courier services as expected from RCD. Great Job RCD team keep up the good work.

Contents of the box are as below ARF pre-covered in neat trim with the CA hinges dry with all accessories. The Six servos (which I am still in dilemma which I will get back later) in the picture are extra which I had bought for the model.

Wing Nut? what are you doing about it ?

The Kit has two metal allen key nuts for the required size but no holes in the wing. Had to use good engineering practice and arbitrary markings to get the holes correct. You think need to be elaborated for benefit of all.

Some of the other areas of roadblock are

1. Servo size

The size of servo slot is very typical 30mm x 14mm falling in the size range of mini say 17 to 20 gms but rarely available size. Where striking a compromise between speed and torque is a big dilemma. Have identified a few.

Got Sanwa mini fast digital 94814 Speed 0.06sec and Emax ES3104 analog metal gear decent torque at 0.11secs

identified and in the cart in HK http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__46945__RJX_FS_0435HV_Metal_Gear_Digital_Servo_Ultra_High_Speed_3_4kg_0_04sec_20g.html (http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__46945__RJX_FS_0435HV_Metal_Gear_Digital_Servo_Ultra_High_Speed_3_4kg_0_04sec_20g.html)

Though the best choice would be the Hobbyking one, for the time being decided to go ahead with Sanwa keeping in mind the reliability factor and speed and keeping throws limited for the initial days.

2. Engine Mounting screw which came with kit are very short just about four threads in the blind nut so decided to change them.

3. Since the model has been built with min wt considerations the cross members, wood work places where Lite ply is desirable has been built up using balsa. Felt a need to tack them with CA keeping reliability on mind.

4. The Battery/fuel tank cover which has been provided with plastic blind nut but a suitable lock nut was missing in the kit. would be adding mine plastic screws for that.

The Kit was a straight bolt up and assemble not much to build.
