Hi All,

Need an advice from expert and experienced gas model flyers.....

i) Do I need to have a seperate battery bank for the CDI RCexl ignition module ? The engine is a small 9cc model and airframe is also small 1550mm span, so not much space is available in the fuselage. On browsing posts from RC Universe, I concluded large models with gas engines above 55cc uses seperate batteries for receiver and ignition, but with modern 2.4 Giga radios, same battery can be used for Rx and ignition and many flyers are having no problem...
ii) Do I necessarily have to use non-metallic push-rods for throttle control ?  Opinions in RC Universe are along similar lines as outlined in (i) above.
iii) Fuel lines used for nitros can be used for gas engines ? (experienced flyers please help).

Don't wake a Tiger until you've factored the teeth

1. Safer to use 2 batteries
2. Not necessary
3. Silicon tubing is not OK. Will crack and harden. Use Tygon
