Hey guys, it's awesome to find such an amazing forum on RCs, specially in India, I thank the founder(s). Now I am a newbie and I recently fell in love with RC Helis.
Now my question - I have an INSANE deal for a 26" Volitation Rc Heli, however, ofcourse, it is not the original (I think), the name of the company is SX as was printed on the top left corner of the box and it has "VOLITATION" printed on it with Gyroscope to the side. The box looks legit.
It looks friggin' beautiful and I am tempted beyond belief to buy it. But it's a footpath shop, yeah, that's the negative about it. So what do you say? Should I buy it?
Asking price? Rs. 1500. Yes, that low, whereas I would've had to cough up a good 4k+ for the original or even the same model in a showroom.
So? What do u say guys?

Welcome to the Forum
There are many such Chinese brands available now days, If your new to RC flying then I guess you may get one of those and practice before upgrading to something real.
I am a beginner and this is just my opinion, wait for some expert advise on this forum. Smiley

Retreat, Hell!

Does it look like the one in the pic below? If yes then it costs around  Indian Rupees 2500 on http://www.nitrorcx.com. The video isn't impressive but you should check the reviews. I have a 'chinese' one ( Indian Rupees 900 & without a gyro) and it's fun to fly and learn without breaking anything!

Wow, 900?? Well that gives me some serious bargaining power although this one has gyro. Well, it does look a lot like it, it's big and all, I didn't notice 'Volitation' written on the heli, only on the package, have to confirm on that. The tail blade is not parallel like the pic above, it's vertical. Also, I guess the price depends on the location (city), can u tell me where u purchased ur 'chinese' version from?
