Post by: dineashkumar on December 20, 2013, 12:36:26 AM
Hi,

i had 25 flights in this heli
in this flight i fixed a keychain camera and tried flying.
it started to pitch front when i take off i couldn't control it and crashed
i don't know what caused the crash.
i am fixing it, waiting for some spares.

I feel its that Receiver issue or a lose connection .   :-\
I had problem with that rx many times due to improper placement of antenna .

i am using rcb 7x
and in rx before this flight i tied both the antennas together and flying
in this i separated both and fixed in opposite direction but it crashed  :(

there could be many reasons,

1. Either of your servo wire went loose. Yesterday i faced similar issue with my rudder, when inspected turned out to be a loose wire.
2. Press the master/slave button on the receiver, which would enable slave circuit.
3. Might be one of your servo misfired.

CG is disturbed because of camera ? ??? ???

@kumar he is using a keychain cam , center of gravity should not be a concern..  anyways

dinesh please dont use that woodies on you fbl, they are not perfect for so. Get a fiber one and where did you mount the camera, i hope it was not on the canopy.. too shaky :)

i checked after the crash but nothing was loose and servos worked fine,
could be rx problem. i will check that.

cg is good as its weight is negligible

thanks avesh i will replace it with cf blades and i mounted the camera under the canopy.
camera was attached to the canopy.

thanks avesh & kumar
