Post by: Harveer on August 07, 2012, 01:40:02 PM
Flying my Trex 600N on this Sunday. In first flight after 3 mins. of flying, clunk line came out in-flight  :banghead: but header tank setup saved me :hatsoff:. Some pix of clunk line & header tank setup.

Harveer !
I am using this Dubro Fuel Tubing  (http://www3.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXD736&P=7)for the tank, quite supple and a nice one, and also i wire lock the clunk end (Both ends in fact) with a 1 mm copper wire (If you cant find some do let me know, will send it to you)

very good quality - http://www.readyheli.com/HAYQ0249-Hayes-clunk-Line-4_p_33432.html

also the copper wire may tend to eat into the tubing after regular use. cut out a small piece of fuel tubing of a larger diameter and sleeve it on top. the sleeve can be 3 to 4 mm in length.

It happened due to 30% nitro mix, it's hard the silicone tube. I used to change all tubing in 12 months max but this time it came out early. I put the sleeve on both sides of same DIA. tube but forgot to click some pix before assembling the tank.
